『僕の周りの宇宙』
この高く晴れ渡る空を眺めていても宇宙の中に生かされていると強く感じます。科学物理には詳しくありませんが全てのものに宇宙のリズムを感じます。ベランダに揺れるコスモスにもそのリズムは宿っています。コスモスはギリシャ語に由来しています。もともとは秩序、調和という意味でした。花びらが整然と並ぶ姿からその名が付いたようです。そして秩序だって統一していることから宇宙も意味するようになりました。コスモスはまた美しさという意味も合わせ持っています。美しさは秩序の中に住んでいます。そんな事を考えながら今日も筆を持っています。因みにコスモスの反対語はカオス。今地球はカオスの中にあります。此の危機を脱するには宇宙のリズムを思いだしふれあい、わけあい、愛し合うことでしか解決できません。 笠井正博

"The Universe Around Me"
Looking at this high and clear sky, I strongly feel that I am alive in the universe. I am not an expert in scientific physics, but I feel the rhythm of the universe in everything. This rhythm is also present in the cosmos swaying on my balcony. The word "cosmos" comes from the Greek language. Originally, it meant order and harmony. It seems to have gotten its name from the orderly arrangement of its petals. It also came to mean the universe because of its orderliness and unity. Cosmos also has the meaning of beauty. Beauty lives in order. I am drawing with these thoughts in mind today. By the way, the opposite of the cosmos is chaos. The earth is now in chaos. The only way out of this crisis is to remember the rhythm of the universe, to touch each other, to share, and to love each other.
